Dynamic and fast paced start-up Fwip came to Bang Creations with a challenge: "To create compact and beautiful machine that dispenses a range of gelato, froyo and sorbets at the push of a button. it needs to be easy to clean, maintain, and operate. And It should perform reliably.”
The machine needed to offer a range of benefits over a conventional ice cream machine: a small footprint, ability to dispense a range of flavours, single mains plug and play, an engaging user interface, tangible market feedback and stock management.
To deliver an innovative end product we needed to design a whole product system. Engineering an optimised delivery pod was run in tandem with the mechanisms that receive, compress and dispose of them no matter the filling.
Ease of use and maintenance is key to Fwip’s customer base, so innovative technologies were integrated to achieve this. For example the machine was developed to recognise the pod flavour then connect with a database to assist the customer with stock management and sales trends.
The product has been overwhelmingly well received. Following the prototype trials Fwip launched their new machine in January 2019, since then we have been managing the production of the machines ensuring quality control for every detail.
The product has been overwhelmingly well received and the award winning desserts are being enjoyed across the country. Check out their website here.
