One of the most difficult things for any brand to do is to appeal to a broad market. At present, many companies have the mindset that when a customer matures out of their target demographic, so be it. But that can no longer be the case.   

With GenZ coming to market and wanting products that last longer through being repaired and having parts replaced, brands will need to reflect this. This is not just true of GenZ, as they will use their voices and begin to influence others around them.

Brands will need to offer products to grow and mature with the customers for longer.. 

 

One brand that does this well is Patagonia. Every effort is put into generating the most functional product using the least energy and damage to the Earth. Their products are long-lasting and repairable. As an ethical company, they put 10% of revenue back into fighting for a better environment. Once you become a Patagonia customer, you remain one and you will tell everyone why.
