Andrew and the team run a successful business that provides award winning infrastructure resilience and security services. During the Covid-19 pandemic it became apparent that there was a global resource shift to remote working. They noticed this shift early and approached Bang to develop a product, The Reskube, that would offer security and resilience to the home workforce. This product would incorporate an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), and a wireless 4G router.
Bang worked with one of our electrical partners to evaluate a range of existing componentry that could be utilised within the product with the aim of reducing time to market. Bang then conceptualised a range of designs that would best suit the user and electrical requirements. The most challenging part of the project was working with existing complex electrical assemblies that we have minimal control over from an emissions perspective. We worked with manufacturing partners to prototype, test & certify through to the delivery of The Reskube.
The Reskube has been successfully launched and has been voted ‘Most Innovative Product of the Year’ at the 2021 Business Continuity Awards.
Bang and our electrical partners are continuing to work with the team to improve efficiencies within the existing product and develop further models to the range.
