Summary
Bang Creations (“we” or “our”) is committed to protecting your personal information. We store all of your information on a secure server and never share this with any third parties for marketing to you. The rest of this privacy policy provides a more detailed explanation about what information we collect and how it is used.
What information we collect
We will collect information from you if you send us an enquiry, register for an account with us, enter a competition, sign up for our newsletter, place an order or interact with our digital content. This may include personal information such as your name, address, email address and payment details. It is completely up to you whether you engage in these activities and provide the information to us.
How do we use your information?
We may use your information in the following ways:
- Where you have agreed, to communicate with you and to send you information about our latest news, competitions, exclusive content, products, services, contests, and promotions
- To process and fulfil any orders you place, including to send you emails to confirm your order status and shipment
- To administer and fulfil our competitions and other promotions
- To prevent, detect, mitigate and investigate fraud, security breaches and activities that are or potentially may be prohibited or illegal
- To comply with any court orders or requests from government authorities
Who do we share your information with?
We never share your information for third parties to send marketing communications to you. However we may share your information with companies that provide support services to us, including website hosting companies and companies that handle our dispatch service. In each case, we will only provide these companies with the information which they need to carry out their services and they will not be permitted to use the information for other purposes. Furthermore, they will only be allowed to use your information in accordance with this privacy policy and applicable laws.
Cookies
This website does not set any cookies of its own, and we do not use cookies for analytics, advertising or tracking. We do not use Google Analytics or any equivalent service. Nothing is stored on your device when you browse the site, so there is nothing for you to accept or decline.
The one exception applies only if you choose to use our enquiry form, and is described in the next section.
Spam protection on our enquiry form
The enquiry form on our contact page is protected by reCAPTCHA, a service provided by Google that distinguishes genuine enquiries from automated ones. We use it to stop the form being used to send us automated spam.
reCAPTCHA does not load when you simply visit the page. It loads at the moment you start filling the form in. If you visit the contact page and do not use the form, nothing about you is sent to Google.
Once it does load, Google receives your IP address and information about how you interact with the form, and may store or read information on your device in order to tell a person apart from an automated system. That processing is carried out by Google under Google’s privacy policy and terms of service, and involves your information being transferred outside the UK.
If you would prefer not to use reCAPTCHA, you do not have to use the form. Our email address and telephone number are on the contact page and reach us just as well.
How long do we keep your information for?
We will retain your information for the period necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this privacy policy unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.
Your rights in relation to your information
You can ask us to update, limit or delete your personal information by contacting us using the details in the ‘How to Contact Us’ section below.
You may also opt out of any communications you have previously agreed to receive by following the unsubscribe instructions in any of those communications from us.
If you remain unhappy with any response you receive from us you can also refer the matter to a data protection supervisory authority. In the UK this is the Information Commissioner’s Office, and you can make a complaint to the ICO. If you are in the EU, you can contact your own national authority instead (see the EDPB list of national data protection authorities).
We may make changes to this privacy policy
We may amend this privacy policy from time to time where it is needed to reflect any changes to the way we handle your information. We therefore recommend that you periodically check this page.
