Meet Bang Creations, the B Corp-certified studio behind the Design Compass. We're a team of product designers and engineers who turn early ideas into market-ready products, whether you need a single push at concept stage or a partner all the way to launch.
What we do
Bang Creations is a B Corp-certified product design and engineering studio that helps businesses turn early-stage ideas into market-ready products. We design, develop and deliver commercially viable concepts to market, supporting clients at every stage from first sketch to first sale.
Everything we do is guided by the Design Compass, our 18-question innovation framework that balances commercial viability, technical feasibility and environmental and social responsibility. It helps us focus on the right product, not just a possible product, so your investment has the best chance of paying back.
We can support you in three ways, depending on how far along you are and what you need from us.
Design: shaping the right product
If you are at the idea or concept stage, we help you establish what is worth creating before committing to full development. Using the Design Compass, we explore options, test assumptions and define your Market Validated Prototype (MaVP), the first version that is good enough to test with real users and buyers.
Typical activities at this stage include opportunity framing, concept generation, MaVP definition, early costing and sustainability thinking, so you can make confident decisions about where to invest next.
Design + develop: prototyping and engineering
Once the right concept is identified, we turn it into a robust, manufacturable product through iterative prototyping and engineering. We move quickly from low-fidelity rigs and 3D sketches through to “works-like, looks-like” prototypes that can be tested for function, usability and desirability.
Our industrial designers and engineers refine form, mechanisms, materials and assembly, always designing with safety standards, target costs and end-of-life in mind. By the end of this phase, you have a fully tested design, ready to hand over to manufacturing partners or to take into our production services.
Design, develop + deliver: manufacturing and launch
For clients who want end-to-end support, we manage the transition from prototype to production and into market. This can include sourcing and managing manufacturers in the UK or offshore, tooling, pilot runs, quality control and ongoing production management so you can reorder with confidence.
We also support brand, packaging, instructions and launch assets, helping you align what the product does with how it is presented so customers instantly understand its value. Throughout, we continue to apply the Design Compass to keep commercial, environmental and social impacts in balance.
